Boarding from 1:30 PM in Vienna-Nussdorf, and "cast off" at 2:15 PM. Cabin allocation and passing the Vienna skyline. Continuing through the Danube-Auen National Park. The day concludes with a welcome evening in the onboard theater.
2. Day, KalocsaAfter lunch, arrival in the oldest city in Hungary, also known as the capital of the Puszta. Guided tour of the Cathedral (a masterpiece of the Baroque) and the Archbishop's Palace (library, suffragan of the Crown of St. Stephen). Individual exploration. Optional: Excursion to a horse show in the Puszta. Entertainment evening in the onboard theater.
3. Day, BudapestIndividual exploration or optional: City tour (duration approximately 3 hours with stops). Late lunch and departure from Budapest at around 1:00 PM. Continuing through the Danube Bend (known as the "Hungarian Switzerland") past Visegrád and the impressive Esztergom Cathedral toward Vienna. Entertainment evening in the onboard theater.
4. Day, ViennaAfter breakfast, disembarkation in Vienna-Nussdorf until 11:00 AM, and individual journey home.
Program changes on the journey are, in the interest of your safety, at the discretion of the 1st captain due to factors such as high water, low water, or other cases of FORCE MAJEURE, at any time (even at short notice). Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.
