Route
Day 1, Arrival

Head to Bregenz. Parking at Parkplatz West/Stadion (about €10 per day on-site, subject to availability) or in the parking garage (reservation required, €150 for 9 days). Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼hotel.

Day 2, Egnach/Güttingen (46/56 km)

Through the Altenrhein nature reserve to Staad and across Swiss towns Rorschach and Arbon to the day's destination. Overnight stay at the 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 3, Gailingen/Rielasingen (62/52 km)

Along the Untersee to Stein am Rhein and to the day's destination. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼hotel.

Day 4, Rheinfall (30/50 km)

Along the Rhine to Schaffhausen to see the famous waterfall; return along the same route. Overnight stay as the previous day.

Day 5, Konstanz/Kreuzlingen (53 km)

Through the Höri peninsula to Radolfzell and onwards to the day's destination. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼hotel.

Day 6, Reichenau Island (33 km, 11 ferry minutes)

Cycle to Mannenbach; take the ferry (every 2 hours) to Reichenau Island (1,300th anniversary, stop for "beer and pretzel"); island tour to the Imperial Abbey; return via Wollmatinger Ried to the Council City. Overnight stay as the previous day.

Day 7, Friedrichshafen (47 km cycling, 15 ferry minutes)

Individual visit to Mainau Flower Island; to the ferry to Wallhausen; to Überlingen and along the lake via Meersburg to the Zeppelin city. Overnight stay at the 4☼☼☼☼hotel.

Day 8, Bregenz (54 km)

Through the Argenmündung nature reserve via Laimnau to Lindau and back to the festival town. Overnight stay as on the day of arrival.

Day 9, Departure

After breakfast.

Parking possibilities in Bregenz

You can park at the Stadion Parkplatz West (up to € 10.- per day; subject to availability) or book a parking space at the Pfänderbahn Parkhaus for an additional fee of + € 150.- for 9 days per car (if booked in advance through Donau Touristik - please inform us at the time of booking).

Your hotels

You spend the night in the hotels listed or occasionally in equivalent accommodation. During the festival season from July 17th to August 18th also in the neighboring towns of Hard, Wolfurt or Dornbirn.

Gastronomy

Breakfast buffet. With half board, enjoy a 3-course set menu or buffet dinner on 5 evenings (not available in Bregenz and Friedrichshafen) at the hotel (partly in nearby restaurants).
