Day 1, Arrival

By train to Passau Overnight stay at 3☼☼☼Hotel Dormero. Handover of travel documents and rental bikes.

Day 2, Schlögener Schlinge (40 km)

Past the convent in Engelszell to the well-known river meanders. Overnight stay at the 3☼☼☼Hotel Freizeitanlage.

Day 3, Linz (56 km)

Through the partly unpopulated Danube Valley to Kaiserau and Linz. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼Hotel Prielmayerhof.

Day 4, Bad Kreuzen/Grein (60 km)

To the oldest town of Austria, Enns. Overnight stay at the 3☼☼☼Hotel Gasthof Zur Zugbrücke.

Day 5, Melk/Ebersdorf (49 km)

Through the Strudengau to the island of Wörth (Donauweibchen) into the gateway to Wachau. Overnight stay at the 3☼☼☼Hotel Dürregger.

Day 6, Traismauer (55 km)

Through the quaint Wachau past Dürnstein and Krems to today's destination. Overnight stay at the 3☼☼☼Hotel Nibelungenhof or 3☼☼☼Gasthof Zum Schwan.

Day 7, Vienna (66km)

Through the flower town Tulln past the Vienna forest into Walzer town. Delivery of rental bikes in the outskirts. Overnight stay in the 4☼☼☼Hotels Park Inn (near the Reichs bridge/U1) or Roomz Gasometer

Day 8, Jurney back home

Return journey from Vienna by train (through Passau)
