Cyclists will find ideal conditions in and around Ehingen for easy-to-drive but varied tours along the river valleys of the Danube and Schmiech and through the UNESCO Swabian Alb Biosphere Park.

From 1346 to 1805 the city and surrounding area belonged to Vorderösterreich, of which the Ständehaus at the market place still bears witness.The baroque estate house is the dominant element of the small Swabian town.

Belfries from 1600 to 1950 and historic motorcycles from the year of construction 1930 as well as machinery such as steam engines are shown in the private Turmuhrenmuseum _{[48.309155 9.571623]} in Granheim, a district of Ehingen, on 700 square meters.
