Top Attractions

The Waltherplatz, is probably the most important square in the city. Here you will find a variety of shops and especially restaurants and cafes. The Iceman or also called "Ötzi" is on display in the Museum of Archaeology, which was found in 1991 in Val Senales. Runkelstein Castle has lost nothing of its medieval character since 1237, despite some extensions and conversions. A special highlight are the well-preserved hiking paintings.

Culture & Events

The fruit market is open daily and provides residents and visitors with fresh fruit, vegetables and meat products from the surrounding area. Fairs, festivals, concerts, festivals and cultural events take place here on an ongoing basis and attract many visitors to the city. The "Museion" is a real eye-catcher and presents modern and contemporary art.

Cuisine

South Tyrolean cuisine is diverse and down-to-earth, tastes good to all visitors and attracts them here again and again. Italian restaurants also find their place in the city and try everything to fulfill the wishes of the guests.
