Route
Day 1, Arrival

in Bregenz. Parking at Parkplatz West/Stadion (approximately € 10.- per day on spot, subject to availability) or in the parking garage (reservation required at the time of booking, € 150.- for 8 days).

Day 2, Arbon/Egnach (42 km)

Through the Altenrhein nature reserve on the Swiss shore via Rorschach to this day's destination.

Day 3, Gailingen/Ramsen (65 km)

Along the way you will pass beautiful parks and (free) lidos; along Untersee to the day's destination.

Day 4, Schaffhausen and Rhine Falls (30/50 km)

To the watchmaking town (Munot fort) and to Europe's largest waterfall; Rhine Falls boat trip included. Return; overnight stay as on the previous day.

Day 5, Constance/Kreuzlingen (53 km)

Across the peninsula Höri to Radolfzell. Continue to Island Reichenau (island tour + 14 km) and to the day's destination.

Day 6, Friedrichshafen (33 km by bike, 15 minutes by ferry)

In the morning, there is time for individual exploration of Mainau Island; afterward, take the ferry to Staad; cross to Meersburg and continue along the lake through Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen.

Day 7, Bregenz (35 km)

Through the Argen estuary nature reserve (side trip along the Argen to Laimnau + 18 km) to Lindau and back to the festival city Bregenz.

Day 8, Journey home

After breakfast or additional nights.

Your hotels

You spend the night in the hotels listed or occasionally in equivalent accommodation. During the festival season from July 17th to August 18th also in the neighboring towns of Hard, Wolfurt or Dornbirn.

Gastronomy

Daily breakfast buffet. With half-board, enjoy a 3-course choice menu on 4 occasions (except in Bregenz (2 times) and Friedrichshafen) featuring specialties of Swiss-Swabian cuisine at the hotel or in good, nearby restaurants.
