Route
Friday, Individual Arrival

Arrive in Passau by approximately 4:30 PM at the ship or the Donau Touristik Info Point. Transfer to the ship (customer-owned bikes must be delivered to the ship independently). "Cast off" during the welcome dinner at 7:30 PM! Technical stop in Obermühl.

Saturday, Schlögen – Linz (56 km)

Handover of rental bikes. Cycle from the UNESCO World Heritage Schlögener Schlinge through the uninhabited Kaiserau to the Baroque market of Aschach and via Ottensheim to Linz. Optional: "200 Years of Anton Bruckner" concert on the Bruckner organ in Linz.

Sunday, Tulln – Vienna (31 km)

Individually visit the Egon Schiele Museum and the garden exhibition in Tulln. Cycle from the flower city Tulln, passing Klosterneuburg (Abbey - "Austria's Escorial") to Vienna. Individually explore Vienna or, if desired, take a "Vienna City Tour by Bike" on up to 95% car-free cycle paths (+18 km car-free cycle paths). Optional: Evening city tour by bus (approximately 2 hours).

Monday, Danube Bend - Szentendre (59 km) - Budapest (40 minutes by train or +22 km)

On the Danube Cycle Path/E6 through the Danube Bend and on car-free cycle paths to the ferry to Szob (approximately € 3.- per person/bike, payable on-site). Past Visegrád (castle, watchtower, and more) to Vác. Take the ferry to the Szentendre Island and the artist town of the same name. By train (payable on-site, running approximately hourly, EU citizens aged 65 and above ride free in addition to the bike ticket) to Budapest or continue car-free to the ship.

Tuesday, Bike tour to Margaret Island (22 km)

Optional: City tour to the most beautiful sights from the ship (3 hours) with a stop in the Castle District. Tips for the bike tour on car-free cycle paths through the center. In the evening, cruise through the splendidly illuminated Danube metropolis.

Wednesday, Circular tour Bratislava (48/33 km)

Arrival in Bratislava after lunch. Optional: Guided city tour (1 hour). Car-free from the ship on the Danube Cycle Path via Wolfsthal to Hainburg (Austria's Rothenburg) and back or further via Schloss Hof and Devin (SK National Monument; approximately 6 km side road).

Thursday, Wachau (48 km)

From the charming UNESCO World Heritage city of Krems, cycle to the most famous spot in the Wachau – Dürnstein. The small, winding town attracts tourists from all over the world. Continue through well-known wine villages such as Weißenkirchen and Spitz to Melk. From afar, you can see the impressive abbey towering over the small town. The last cycling kilometers of your journey take you to Pöchlarn. Return of rental bikes.

Friday, Disembarkation/Passau

Arrival in Passau at approximately 9:00 AM. After breakfast at around 10:00 AM, bus transfer to the parking lot/main station.


Program changes on the journey are, in the interest of your safety, at the discretion of the 1st captain due to factors such as high water, low water, or other cases of FORCE MAJEURE, at any time (even at short notice). Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.
