Route
Day 1, Arrival

Arrive in Trier at the 4☼☼☼☼hotel. Unattended parking (about € 12.-/day on-site). Your rental bike will be ready for you at the hotel. Trier river cruise, approximately 60 minutes, can also be taken on Day 2.

Day 2, Trittenheim/Neumagen-Dhron (40/45 km)

Pass by the Trittenheim Moselle loop to Trittenheim or Neumagen-Dhron, the oldest wine-growing town in Germany. Overnight at the 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 3, Traben-Trarbach (50/45 km)

Through dreamy wine-growing villages like Bernkastel-Kues, continue along the Moselle loops to the famous wine-growing town of Traben-Trarbach. Overnight at the 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 4, Cochem (56 km)

Past Zell ("Schwarze Katz") and the Calmont (steepest vineyard in Europe) to the destination known for the Reichsburg. Overnight at the 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 5, Koblenz (50 km)

Past Treis-Karden and numerous castles (Pyrmont, Eltz, Bischofstein, Thurant) to the Rhine confluence at the Deutsches Eck. Overnight at the central 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 6, St. Goar/Oberwesel (45 km)

On the Rhine cycle path to the Loreley and to St. Goar. Overnight at the 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 7, Mainz (60 km)

Through the unique UNESCO World Heritage Site Rhine meadows to Mainz. Overnight at the 3☼☼☼hotel.

Day 8, Departure

Return by train in regional trains (approximately every 2 hours, about 3 hours travel time) to Trier (1 transfer, bike transport possible). Return transfer of your own bikes for + € 30.- (E-Bike € 36.-) per night trip.

"On our way from Perl to Koblenz, we liked the small town of Bernkastel-Kues the most. The old town with its beautiful half-timbered houses at the marketplace is worth a visit. Many wine taverns also invite you to take a break during the bike ride."
