The large district town of Singen, located near Lake Constance, lies amidst the largely untouched Hegau landscape with its volcanic mountains crowned by castles. Numerous cultural monuments from different epochs can also be found here.

The Hohentwiel Fortress is a must-see. The castle ruins are the symbol of the city and offer a panoramic view over Singen. The approximately 20-meter-long Scheffelbrücke is a stone bridge over the Radolfzeller Aach.
